WHOLESALE
The ability to wholesale our products has undergone a great deal of growth since our business opened. Given our dedication to providing the best hand crafted products, we expect likewise from our retailers. We are confident in our ability to provide your business with the best products at competitive prices and welcome the opportunity to discuss your company’s wholesale needs.

If you are interested in wholesaling our products, please use the “contact us” page and give us your name, store’s name, location and business phone number. We will email a link to our wholesale registration page. Once registration is approved you will be able to order online at wholesale prices.

The following are some highlights on wholesale purchase policies:

  • Discount is 50% our suggested retail price as listed currently on our online store.
  • Minimum initial purchase – 6 cases (12 units each)
  • Subsequent orders – 3 cases (12 units each)
  • Orders must be made via purchase order with deposit of 50%.
  • Production time is 2 – 4 weeks.
  • Our company reserves the right to chose a shipping method/carrier, local orders free delivery.

BULK SALES
We do extended discounts on orders considered exceptionally large or bulk in nature. In most cases these are for “favor” items. Please check with us regarding those products we make available for this type of purchase.

Most bulk orders will need to be in excess of 50 units with a discount of 20%. Those in excess of 100 units will be discounted 30%.

Conditions for Wholesale, Private Labeling, Fundraising and Bulk Purchase;

  • We do ask that you sign a “Statement of Purpose” before any orders are filled. This statement ensures your manner of sales fall within our guidelines. This form can be found in PDF format on our “Our Links” page.
  • All required documents must be faxed or mailed to us prior to any production being initiated.
  • Deposits and payments must be made in a timely fashion or production/delivery will be delayed.
  • No products labeled Scents & Sensibility, Inc. shall be made available for sale via auction over the Internet.
  • As the manufacturer we MUST disclose on merchandise our company name/URL.
  • We require a hold harmless statement for private labeling sales, and inclusion of your company as a rider on our liability insurance.

Returns;

  • Products in the original packaging will be accepted for up to 30 days after delivery.
  • There is a 10% restocking fee for all returned orders.
  • Refunds are processed via our credit card vendor; ProPay or by store credit.
  • Custom orders are non-refundable.

FUNDRAISING
Scents & Sensibility, Inc. will manufacture products at a reduced rate depending on volume, for your organization to sell for profit. The only products currently available for fundraising opportunities are select container candles.

Fundraising sales are limited to “not for profit” organizations. Fundraising sales must be 75+ units. Please contact us for a fundraising package that details the terms and procedures for conducting a fundraising event with our company.

  • In order to initiate a fundraising sale you must fill out our online “Fundraising Application” form”. It is available on our site, under “Our Links”. Once in receipt we will follow up with a phone call and make arrangements for delivery of our fundraising package. Some things to consider regarding fundraising with our company:
  • Our candles are made locally, a handcrafted product produced in Winchester, VA.
  • We can work with your organization to specialize and make each of your fundraisers unique, increasing the appeal and therefore the return on your fundraising activities.
  • Fundraiser should run no longer than 3 weeks.
  • All payments must be collected at the time of sale.
  • Checks must be made out to your organization, NOT Scents & Sensibility.
  • Sales under 200 units will be charged shipping of $.50 per unit.
  • Local delivery (Frederick Co.,VA) Customer pick-up (arranged in advance) and orders over 200 units are not charged shipping.
  • Suggested retail on our fundraising container candle (round jar) is $8.00, your organization’s price per unit is $4.00 plus shipping if applicable.
  • Your organization may set your own retail pricing.
  • Production is approximately two weeks, no longer than twenty-one days.
